Our Journey: The genesis of our church

Full Gospel Church of Love in Christ (FGCOLIC) was founded July 1978, by Bishop Arvie and Norma Jean Jones through a bible study which was held every Friday night on Fawnway Drive, Houston, Texas. The bible study turned into an organized church and the first service was held September 21, 1980, on Fawnway Drive as the Church of God. The name was changed to Full Gospel Church of Love in Christ.

We are eternally grateful for the spiritual home we found at Full Gospel Church of Love in Christ. "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them."
